The stock cooking grid on the ASMOKE Essential is solid, but this cast iron upgrade takes your outdoor cooking to the next level. Cast iron holds heat longer and more evenly than standard steel, giving you better sear marks, faster preheating, and more predictable results. The upper rack turns a single-level grill into a two-zone cooking system—grill below, warm or smoke above.

Care & Maintenance

Season the cast iron grid before first use and after each cleaning to maintain its non-stick surface and prevent rust. Clean with a grill brush while warm, then apply a thin layer of cooking oil. Store in a dry place.
